Little Treasures Home Daycare on Huron
I operate a home daycare that focuses on programming and activities for small children.
I currently have two full or part time spaces available for children 18 months - 6 years of age, and one part-time space available for a child 6 months - 6 years of age. I will also consider before and after-school care for older siblings. I have a very flexible schedule and I will negotiate weekends and evenings for shift work. When your child comes into our home, he or she will become a part of the family!
I use an emergent and project-approach base for my programming. We use our daily routine as a framework for discovery. Each week we will explore a theme based on the children's interests and talents through various activities including literacy, science, art, group games, songs and stories. We are active in community playgroups and events to encourage social participation and awareness. We play outdoors every day to encourage gross motor development and healthy living.
My home is smoke free, safe, bright and fun. The playroom is on the main level adjacent to the dining room and backyard. We are close to 3 playgrounds. I am equipped with a double stroller and we have a van with appropriate car seats for further expeditions.
Meals are included with fees. Fees start at $30 for a full day of care. Tax receipts are provided.
We are located off of Huron St, just east of Adelaide, and are within walking distance of Northbrae PS.
